This past weekend I attended the Atlanta Regional Seminar. I had a blast and met some great ladies. I went with a fellow demo who lives in the area. It was nice to have someone along that you already know. I was blessed to be able to sit at a table with some great ladies, Diane, Pam and Julia (waving)! I also met Kim Howard , fellow Splitcoast Stamper and blogger. I was glad to meet her because she lives in the area that we will be moving to in a few months.
This is one of the cards I created while I was there. They had a different design for us to do but it did not appeal to me so I made some adjustments. We all received a set, from the upcoming Fall/Winter Collection 2007, called Double-Line Doodles. It is a pretty cute set and I hope to get some cards made with it soon.
The picture is not a great one and my colors are a little off. The card base is actually More Mustard. The challenge here was to stay in these colors since it was all they had provided us with. I used a blender pen to color in the leaves and stem and markers to color in the flower.
On another note, I passed the 15,000 hit mark over the weekend! So, as a thank you to everyone for supporting me I will be having a little blog gift drawing later this week. I just need to decide what I am gonna give away and then I will post it. So keep your eyes open.
Stamps: Double-Line Doodles Ink: More Mustard, Old Olive & Tempting Turquoise Paper: Naturals White, More Mustard, Old Olive & Tempting Turquoise Accessories: Red Grosgrain, Red marker, blender pen & olive button
